The first Chicago Latino Fashion Week will spotlight local and international Latino designers such as Chicago's James de Colon, who is making a name for himself with lavish gowns, and Mexico's Ximena Valero, who has dressed celebrities such as Jessica Alba, Alicia Keys and Mexican star Paulina Rubio.
The series of runway and trunk shows starts Monday and runs through Nov. 4, when the finale runway show and luncheon will feature appearances by Jaslene Gonzalez, winner of "America's Next Top Model," and Nadine Velazquez, who stars as Catalina in NBC's "My Name is Earl."
