Yesterday I had the privilege of having a great conversation with Lolis Garcia and Maria Sobrino regarding Hispanic Heritage Month, Latino Culture, Immigration, Entrepreneurship in our community, Hispanic Education and much more.
I’ve mentioned Lolis show before, and invite you to check it out and see how this amazing Mexican-American lady is setting a great example for many Hispanics to follow.
I especially recommend you also get Maria Sobrino’s soon to be released new book, “Thriving Latina Entrepreneurs In America”.
As a teaser, I am sharing with you Amazon’s book description:
Thriving Latina Entrepreneurs in America answers a question the author frequently encounters, "How much determination does it take to star and lead your own successful business?" This book is an inspiration and guide for everyone, especially women of ethnic backgrounds in different industries who are or wish to become entrepreneurs. The book consists of 8 gripping and inspiring stories of successful Latina entrepreneurs and shares the many lessons and experience they have had in shaping their American dream. It also presents essential and useful information on how to begin a business of your own. In short, Thriving Latina Entrepreneurs in America is a book that encourages the reader to succeed and make a difference.
The show will air today live on Austin’s Talk Radio 1370AM both on the air and online at 3 PM Central. Go to the station’s website and click on the “listen live” button. Soon it will also be available at Lolis’ website.
PS To all my Guatemalan Friends... ¡Feliz 15 de Septiembre!
