Juan: where did you find this Vinos de Pasion? Do you think they are well targeted to Latinos and do you think their strategy is working? I wonder.

Dear Marivi,

As I mention in the post, I believe there is just too much stereotyping going on with this wine's strategy. I've heard through the grapevine that the implemented strategy has not worked as expected. Some bottles are collecting dust in the isles, while others are being sold below the original price, and the wine is being drunk along with ice... Not what the producers intended, I believe.

I would never buy one of these bottles; actually it makes me kind of mad to have someone assume that the images shown on this labels will attract ALL Hispanics and that ALL Hispanics like the same flavors.

I think it was a good learning experience for the producers and distributors, one from which they hopefully will learn how to REALLY market wines to Latinos.
